Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Module 1 is the first course of Bangla Iskool designed to teach the following:

  • All 50 letters in the Bangla alphabet
  • 10 kars or diacritic marks
  • 10 numbers
  • Basic spelling rules

Module 1 comprises 52 classes, each of which teaches one or more new lessons. Our experience and assumption say that if a 5 to 14-year-old child spends 20 minutes a day in Bangla Iskool, it will take them less than 4 months to complete Module 1. This means in less than 4 months, the child will read and write most of the simple Bangla words.

A Class teaches a new lesson. Each class comes with different components; new video tutorials, Whiteboards, new stages & challenges in the game Bagadoolia, Playbook, eBooks and Analytics. On average, a class takes about 75 minutes to complete.

Module 2 will cover more the complex aspects of Bangla like Juktakkhor (joint letters), spelling rules and sentence structure. We are planning to launch Module 2 in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Yes, it's true that in the first few classes some meaningless words are being used. Iskoology focuses on teaching different sounds that a letter makes when used with a kar (কার) or phola (ফলা). We believe once a child understands the basics of spelling, they will be able to spell meaningful and complex words as well. To help them better understand the spelling basics, rather than using difficult words, sometimes meaningless easy and funny words have been used. As they advance, their classes will not have any meaningless words.

Independently - no. But if a Bangla-speaking person helps them with meanings and context, Bangla Iskool would be a great place to start learning Bangla.

Please email us at report@banglaiskool.com or message us on Facebook. We will definitely look over the issue and resolve it as soon as possible.

The free trial will give you access to the video tutorials, Whiteboard, some selected stages of Bagadoolia and the Playbook for Class 01. You will also be able to read "রায়ান আর টিউ", an exclusive eBook written for Module 1 graduates.

Currently, we don’t have the Playbooks in a printed book format. But we plan on printing one book with all the Playbooks together that you can order online and have delivered to your doorstep.
